The immensity of Australia’s Red Centre changed Katya’s future forever… Her soul now belongs to the Antipodes!

Just turning 17 Katya landed in Australia to pursue her graduate studies in Brisbane. A Tourism Master Degree in hand, her dream was to come back to Australia and open an Inbound Operator! In 1998, as the youngest Product Manager for Accor Tours in France, she launched Australia and New Zealand on the French market.

In 2001, along with her business partner Sebastien Cros, she decided to develop the Oceania Region.  She created the successfully distributed product in France -- The Australian Mosaic, and later developed the same in New Zealand.

Determined to continue in the same direction, she moved to Port-Vila in 2009 to open the onsite inbound office Across Islands Discovery. Another immediate success which helped position the brand in major International Markets such as Germany and USA.

Katya’s hobbies and passions are literature, cinema, Hispanic dances and music.  What makes her really special is her drive for success and the fact that she lives life as a free spirit and to its fullest!

Katya’s best travel memory is a day tour up to the Island’s active volcano, Mount Yasur, Tanna – Vanuatu. “It was like a giant firework … so impressive to stand there … I will always keep this amazing  landscape in mind!”

Sebastien Cros, Across Australia

Sebastien Cros has had one Big Attraction for over twenty years: Australia!

At 17 years old, as a backpacker, he landed in Australia and even though he had discovered other exotic destinations, Australia became his passion. Following his travels around the world and having discovered his interest for tourism, Sebastien finally accomplished his dream in 2001, and settled in Darwin. With Katya Denomme’s his business partner, they set up Across Australia, welcoming the French and European tourists into Australia.

The strength of Across: “Offering tailor-made quality products”.  The successful formula has since been taken up and further developed, first in New Zealand in 2007, then Vanuatu the following year.  ‘Across Australia’ has since been extended to ‘Across Oceania 360°.  “Our objective: a vision to master the whole of Oceania at 360 degrees!”

Sebastien hobbies and passions are politics, political biographies, photography, and music.  He plays DJ from time to time at private gatherings…!!!

Sebastien’s next expedition will be a road trip in the wild across Australia. “I would like to drive across the country from Perth to Uluru by the Great Central Road, where starts the famous Gibson Desert! I will spend hours staring at the landscape and share moments with the Indigenous… This is going to be an amazing experience!”
